Fabricator Welder – Aluminum TIG 117 views

CM Marine is currently seeking an experienced, driven, business-minded Welder / Fabricator in our Placid Lakes Location.

We make products for the marine market: Fillet Tables, Dock Ladders, Leaning Posts, and more. Our products are in high demand and can be found from Aruba to Alaska.

Pay is production-based. The more you make, the more you make.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Minimum 1-3 years experience TIG welding / fabricating Aluminum, Stainless, etc. (More experience is better)
• Experience fabricating: measuring, bending, cutting, welding, etc. to blueprint and spec
• Experience fabricating wood or plastic using table saws, routers, drills, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders
• use welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials
• Cut, bend, punch, and fabricate as needed
• Use table saw, routers, band saws and other equipment to fabricate pieces from HDPE as needed
• Track inventory and order material.
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other duties assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
