**Administrative Responsibilities:**

– Prioritize job processing using dispatch systems or following instructions.

– Provide detailed feedback for documentation correction.

– Deliver documentation of welded parts to the production scheduler.

**Welding Responsibilities:**

– Perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel.

– Execute purge welds on stainless steel tubing for sanitary-quality welds.

– MIG weld on various materials, including aluminum and mild steel.

– Conduct self-inspections and tests on completed parts.

**Inventory, Parts, Equipment Maintenance Responsibilities:**

– Accurately report raw materials and inventory used.

– Clean and store equipment and tooling daily.

– Check and maintain production equipment.

– Report equipment, parts, and inventory issues promptly.

– Transport finished goods using proper material handling techniques.

**Quality Control Responsibilities:**

– Detect and report defective materials.

– Submit completed documentation for inspection department approval.

**Safety Responsibilities:**

– Meet monthly safety requirements set by the HSE Department.

– Attend mandatory Safety Training sessions.

– Comply with all safety policies and guidelines.

– Recognize the role as safety-sensitive, subject to randomized drug testing.

**Qualifications:**

We seek candidates with:

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– 2 years of trades training or minimum one year of industrial experience.

– Knowledge of blueprints and layout work.

– Proficiency in TIG welding thin gauge stainless steel.

– Ability to purge weld stainless steel tubing.

– Proficiency in MIG welding on various materials.

– Knowledge of standard weld symbols.

– Basic tools of the trade.

– Ability to use shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions.

– Judgment for decision-making within recognized methods.

– Knowledge of weld grinding and polishing techniques.

Even Better If You Have:

– Formal welding training.

– Advanced knowledge of blueprints and layout work.

– Ability to pass the Welding Skills test during the interview process.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

Candidates must be physically capable of:

– Working 10 hours per day, 6 days a week for 12 months.

– Operating around moving industrial machinery.

– Using hand tools.

– Lifting parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

– Stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, and standing for the entire shift.

– Receiving and conveying detailed instructions.

– Applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.

– Working around exposure to machinery noise, coolants and oils, and fumes.

– Handling stress due to time constraints.

– Stepping up/down material handling equipment (forklift truck).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
