Welder – Aerospace 120 views

Required Work Experience:

• 1 – 3 Years’ Experience in aerospace welding or a related field

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Manual GTAW (TIG) welding of aerospace components. Must be experienced in thin aluminum, Inconel and stainless. Most products will be thin walled (.020″ – .049″) aerospace tubing. 5F / 6G.

• The ability to read engineered drawings, and follow work order requirements.
• Perform Layout, setup, and fixturing for welding jobs.
• Familiar with fabrication tools such as chop saws, belt sanders, air tools, etc.
• Familiar with simple measurement equipment such as calipers, angle finders, and speed squares.
• Prior experience using complicated weld fixtures and weld positioner (turntable)
• Be able to set up the welding machine for specific materials, thicknesses, and positions
• Create quality welds according to drawings/repair specifications & inspect welds for accuracy
• Ability to pass multiple weld plate testing in Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum Alloys upon hire.
• Including a 6G aluminum .028 wall tube and .035 wall stainless tube test.

• US Citizen or a legally authorized foreign worker.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work extended hours on an as-needed basis
• Work in a fast paced environment driven by customer demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
