TASCO is currently recruiting for an experienced structural steel fitter. We are looking for detailed, dependable individual with a strong work ethic. At TASCO, business is our focus so everyone wins!
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to layout and plan sequence of project
- Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines, coping, notching etc…..
- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
- Fabricating and constructing metal components.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Performing quality checks on completed products.
- Weld and tack structural steel (MIG Welding)
- Must be able to use accurately use torch and laser
- Experience with metal fab equipment including: overhead cranes, grinders, band saws, iron workers, drills
- QC co workers welds and assemblies
- Ability to concentrate on a task
- Complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Must have good math skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
